Troubled Economic Times
The General Synod Resolution (www.ucc.org/synod/resolutions/gs27/troubled-economy.pdf) "Ministering to Those Struggling and Suffering in The Troubled Economy" calls the church to multiply ministries to alleviate human suffering via a web-based clearing house connecting local churches, Associations and Conferences engaged in social service ministries with other local churches, Associations and Conferences where they can be duplicated.
During the Advent / Christmas seasons, six questions will be posed in Keeping You e-Posted to generate this conversation vital to authentic ministry as we prepare to celebrate Christ's birth. Through Christmas, Lent, Easter and Pentecost seasons there are plans for further engagement to build the clearing house, make connections and multiply ministries.
